Author Jacquelyn Cook

The Woman’s Literary Club is sponsoring a book signing for nationally acclaimed author Jacquelyn Cook on Saturday, February 15, 2003, at Elizabeth’s Christian Books and Gifts (214 W. Lamar Street) from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Mrs. Cook will sign copies of Magnolias: A Romantic History from the Deep South in Four Complete Novels, recently released by Barbour Press. The book is a compilation volume in paperback of four of her previously released historical Christian romances. All four “River Saga” novels deal with the lives and fortunes of a Eufala, Alabama, family in the turbulent times surrounding the Civil War.

Though meticulously researched and historically accurate, Mrs. Cook’s novels reflect her strong commitment to faith and family values, and as such are perfectly suitable gift books for all members of the family.
